I went to a nephew's son's wedding reception in Price, Utah yesterday. In driving around the town I say a few signs that said vote Kay Colosimo for County Treasurer. That is great. Kay is my full cousin. My father and her mother are brother and sister.
Another thing that is cool about it is that my grandfather Nicholas Peter Pettersson served as Carbon County Treasurer. Kay knows this and seems to find enjoyment in it. Kay said she has worked in the office of the County Treasurer for up to 25 years. Seems qualified to me and I even told her that she deserves it.
Another thing that is really cool about this is that I was named for my grandfather. I was actually named for both of my grandfathers. I was named Nicholas Joseph Curtis for Nicholas Peter Pettersson and Joseph Augustus Curtis. This is way cool. Good luck to Kay.
