Truth exposed about the climage change hoax.

This is actually not news.  The hoax was exposed two to three years ago with hard evidence.  Due to the size of it and the nature of the coverup and the jobs involved the hoax is still being perpetuated.  If one dares mention it publicly they are ridiculed and bullied.  It is not in your best interest to discuss it especially if you are in a related public position with some influence.  Ask Rick Santorum or Rick Perry about it.  They do not buy into the hoax and have publicly said so but it has got them nowhere.

The Global Warming, 'er Climate Change hoax.

I have been going at it on Facebook on some of the threads about climate change or global warming.  Some believe in it religiously.  I have come to find out that it is a hoax and some are acquiring millions of dollars from the government in the form of grants to study climate change just to get the grant.  This is at a time when out country is basically bankrupt.  Dan Hausel pointed out the hoax and even pointed out that over 30,000 scientists had signed a petition saying that man has not or does not do anything to affect the climate.  He went on to say it is a hoax.  In the forum threads it was mentioned that these grants are in the hundreds of millions of dollars.  I posted some of this information about the petition earlier and Dan Hausel has given me permission to share some more links about climate change.  There is more links than I thought there were and I haven't checked them out but you can bet that I will because I want to stay on top of this and I want to see what is being said.  Part of it is curiousity and part of it is being responsible.

Here are the links from Dan Hausel on Climate Change.

I love it when my granddaughter wants a cookie in each hand.

My granddaughter is so cute.  I started giving her treats like cookies in each hand to make her feed good, keep her busy and give enough so I don't have to do it so often.  Now she expects it whether she eats both cookies or not.  She did it even when I was only going to give her one cookie.  She know how to get her way with her grandfather.  So, once in a while I end up eating the cookies which she doesn't.

Three cats came after me at once.

So I have some cats that I feed every day.  This day I was giving them a real treat.  I had some chicken meat that had been in the refrigerator for a few days.  I started breaking off little pieces and giving it to the cats.  I was even hand feeding a couple of them which usually won't have anything to do with me.  One in particular was eating gently right out of my hand.  A couple of other cats came over and then they started crowding each other and attacking.  There were three cats going after one piece of meat.  When I got a couple of hits on my hand with their claws at least one of which drew blood that was enough of that.  That ended the treat for that day for them.

Looking for Quality Gems.

I am looking for any angle to make some extra money.  Prospecting, dectecting, cache hunting, thinking about writing and even trying to get some lead from rifle bullets to recycle.  I had a bad experience with the last one.  Anyway now I am looking into looking for diamonds and gems.  I have heard they may be plentiful in Colorado and Wyoming and they were even mining them for a few years in Colorado.  So I have been looking at maps and figuring a strategy.  I realize that it won't be easy as it's like looking for a needle in a haystack and you may have to go through tons of rock to find one diamond and then it may not be gen quality.  So I will settle for any gem of good quality.  In fact I may focus on garnets among others.  Garnets are seemingly plentiful and possible to get some good quality ones for gems.  So I am looking all over now for diamonds and gems and will use several strategies to do so.  If I just had a vehicle to get to where I can look I believe I can be successful.

Went to Church today.

I went to church today.  It was the second day of the year but we had fast Sunday today.  The first thing that I noticed was that the parking lot was pretty full.  But now that we have the middle schedule there is already another ward there.  But we do have more attending on this schedule than last year.  Last year when I would come to church it was sparse seating.  So far this year the benches have been pretty full.  It was pretty full today but we had two baby blessings so that was part of it.

One amusing thing happened.  When I came in my usual seat was taken so I sat in the first one available which was by the full time missionaries.  When it came time for singing a hymn a person seated in from of the missionaries had his arm over the hymn book so they could not get it.  Being shy they did not get it or just grab it.  So I wasn't the shy one this time.  I tapped the person on the arm and had him move it so the missionaries could get the hymnbook.  I knew the guy so it wasn't really a problem.  I didn't think he would mind.

So I went to Tyler's birthday party today at ChuckECheese.

One of the first things that I noticed was a big dude with a Boston Red Sox t-shirt on.  He also had a Boston Red Sox baseball cap on.  So I figured he loved the Red Sox.  Later I noticed that the balloon with the children's name on for his son said Boston.  It didn't take me long to figure that he had named his son Boston.  So I wanted to ask him about it.  First I mentioned it to Sam and asked Sam to ask him.  Sam politely refused.  So I eventually asked the man about it.  He said that when the Red Sox were down in 2007 he said to his wife that if they come back and win the World Series they would name their son Boston.  They ended up sweeping the Rockies in four so they went ahead and named their son Boston.  This was his fourth birthday.  I told him I thought that was great but I think he felt a little sheepish about explaining it to a stranger.

Kiwi fruit

My granddaughter Sierra usually likes to eat whatever I'm eating.  But she hadn't bothered to ask for some of the kiwi fruit that I ate until recently.  Now she has tried it she likes it.  She is not yet three years old.  I was over 60 before I had a kiwi.  Must be a smaller world these days or people are more health conscious.  Anyway now I'll have to share my kiwi or eat it on the sly.

There is no evidence that man has caused climate change.

http://gem-garnet.blogspot.com/

This is one of many blogs of W. Dan Hausel.  He is one of the signers of a petition of over 30,000 scientists who says that there is no evidence that global warming or climate change has come about because of anything man did or does.  Below is an excerpt from his blog.

The outcrops also provide examples of extreme natural environmental conditions in the geological past and provide evidence of Nature-caused global freezing and global warming, long before it became a popular cult theme of politicians and environmentalists. Global warming and freezing events are common throughout earth’s history: >30 thousand scientists http://www.petitionproject.org profess that there is no evidence for Man-caused global warming (which recently was modified to Climate Change since the last 9 years have brought lower than normal temperatures). Good o’ Mother Earth continues to change her environment without our help or interference. Mother Earth is unstable and always has been. I remember when I was an undergraduate and future geologists were taught that the earth was moving into another ice age. Several alpine glaciers were measured and shown to be expanding at that time.

North Carolina Bride Rachelle Friedman Chapman working to walk again.

Apparently this story is a year or two old.  That does not make it any less significant.  This is a very inspiring story to me.  I can't help but believe that she will succeed.  Following is an excerpt from the story, a pic and then the link.

When Chapman arrived at Project Walk, she was weak, says Kimberly Davis, an instructor there. Her blood pressure was low because her muscles had atrophied and she didn't have the muscle contractions necessary to move the blood, Davis says.

"Mornings would be difficult for her," Davis says. "We wouldn't even be able to get her into a seated position without her passing out."

She also was suffering from bone loss because she's not standing or bearing weight. By the end of her treatment, Chapman was able to move for 30 minutes on a machine similar to an elliptical trainer that takes clients through the walking process while supporting their legs and body with a harness.

She also was able to get upright in a frame that uses hydraulics to move clients to a standing position.

"I was pretty impressed with her progress," Davis says. "She didn't leave here walking, but she increased her strength tremendously."

Over 30,000 scientists say that man cannot influence climate change.

I encourage you to go to this website for more information.  They even have the names and qualifications for all of the petition's signers and the petition that they signed.  Below the link is an excerpt.

10. Why is the Petition Project necessary?

In December 1997, then U. S. Vice-President Al Gore participated in a meeting in Kyoto, Japan during which he signed a treaty to ration world energy production based upon fear of human-caused global warming. This treaty was not, however, presented to the United States Senate for ratification.

Since before that Kyoto meeting and continuing to the present day, Mr. Gore and his supporters at the United Nations and elsewhere have claimed that the "science is settled" – that an overwhelming "consensus" of scientists agrees with the hypothesis of human-caused global warming, with only a handful of skeptical scientists in disagreement.

Moreover, for more than 10 years these proponents of world energy rationing have consistently argued that, in view of this claimed scientific "consensus," no further discussion of the science involved in this issue is warranted before legislative action is taken to heavily tax, regulate, and ration hydrocarbon energy.

Since, however, these claims were not successful in convincing the United States government to initiate energy rationing, the United Nations has held a series of international meetings attended by a central group of about 600 scientists, some additional scientists outside of this group, and a large number of political and bureaucratic representatives – approximately 2,000 in all. The United Nations has also hosted larger meetings, including many non-scientist participants from environmental, business, and political organizations.

During and after each of these meetings, there have been further publicity campaigns claiming that the "science is settled" – that the "consensus" of scientists in favor of the hypothesis of human-caused global warming is so overwhelming that further examination of the science is unnecessary.

Realizing, from discussions with their scientific colleagues, that this claimed "consensus" does not exist, a group of scientists initiated the Petition Project in early 1998. Thousands of signatures were gathered in a campaign during 1998-1999. Between 1999 and 2007, the list of petition signatories grew gradually, without a special campaign. Between October 2007 and March 2008, a new campaign for signatures was initiated. The majority of the current listed signatories signed or re-signed the petition after October 2007. The original review article that accompanied the petition effort in 1998-1999 was replaced in October 2007 with a new review incorporating the research literature up to that date.

The renewed petition campaign in 2007 was prompted by an escalation of the claims of "consensus," release of the movie "An Inconvenient Truth" by Mr. Al Gore, and related events. Mr. Gore's movie, asserting a "consensus" and "settled science" in agreement about human-caused global warming, conveyed the claims about human-caused global warming to ordinary movie goers and to public school children, to whom the film was widely distributed. Unfortunately, Mr. Gore's movie contains many very serious incorrect claims, which no informed, honest scientist could endorse.

The campaign to severely ration hydrocarbon energy technology has now been markedly expanded. In the course of this campaign, many scientifically invalid claims about impending climate emergencies are being made. Simultaneously, proposed political actions to severely reduce hydrocarbon use now threaten the prosperity of Americans and the very existence of hundreds of millions of people in poorer countries.

As Professor Seitz states, in his Petition Project letter which speaks of this impending threat to all humanity, "It is especially important for America to hear from its citizens who have the training necessary to evaluate the relevant data and offer sound advice."

The Petition Project is a means by which those citizens are offering that advice.
